This should be fixed now.

Holger Sindbaek one easy way people cheat is that they have a partner with a throwaway account. One partner has an ELO around 2000 and the other has an ELO around 400. The combined ELO for the team is now 1200. So when they win, the both go up quite a bit because they likely beat a team that was at least 1400 and maybe more. The 400 ELO will quit the game before it ends which has a negative impact on their ELO but they don't care about this account. In fact, it helps them for the next time they try this trick because now they will be 350 and 2050 and still average out to 1200. The other account is the one they are pushing up. This form of cheating can be defeated by setting a floor for ELO at 1200. Once you get to 1200, you can't go any lower. This then makes a 1200 and 2000 pair equal to 1600 which likely means they are higher than the other team and therefore the extra boost for winning is removed and losing takes more away...

I'm working on a system that should effectively detect cheaters.
Any guesses on how people cheat? Are they logged into 2 users in 2 browsers and then simply playing with each other?

Holger Sindbaek: I have observed a couple of ways I believe people cheat. Yes, 2 browsers, 1 user playing with themselves. Or, two different players in touch somehow, perhaps in same physical space, or by text or phone. If you devise a way to detect this, and can effectively ban cheaters, hats off to you—that will be a big deal.

Thanks, "Calm" and "JSX" and whoever JSX plays with at any given moment are the only ones I am sure of, but I do have most of these players x'd for whatever reason, likely because they were cheating.

"Homa" is another obvious cheater.

Amen. There are some whose rankings NEVER gets below 1900, which is impossible.
